Sponsorships and messages on UX Questions

Sponsoring an episode (or multiple episodes) of UX Questions is a great way to reach an engaged audience of UX professionals, while also supporting the show! All sponsorships are subject to our Advertising Policy.

Note: Patreon supporters can get free sponsorship spots as a Perk! Check out the Perks at different levels of support before buying a sponsorship spot.

Fill out this form to get things started (but be sure to read all the details below, before you submit.)

So we know who to contact to finalize the details of your sponsorship.
So we can reply back to you to finalize details, provide an invoice, and help you submit payment.
Patrons at certain levels of support might qualify for a FREE spot. Let us know if you’re taking advantage of this Perk!
This doesn’t have to be perfect—we’ll work with you to finalize the copy for your ad or message. Just give us a first draft so we have an idea of what you want to say.
Provide any other details that can help us serve you.

Here are all the little details you should know before submitting your request:

Business / brand sponsors

Your company or organization can sponsor a single episode or a block of episodes. This enables you to advertise your product or service to the UX Questions community.

Ben will read a mini-commercial advertising your business or brand. Alternatively, you can also record your own spot and send it to Ben for insertion into the show.

We’ll work together on the content of your ad via email. Depending on the production schedule, we may or may not be able to tell you which episode(s) or question(s) your ad will run with.

  • $50: 90-word ad (about 30 – 45 seconds speaking time) placed at the end of an episode
  • $80: 90-word ad placed at the beginning of an episode
  • $100: 180-word ad (about 60 – 90 seconds speaking time) placed at the end of an episode
  • Bulk discount: buy 4 episodes, get the 5th free!
  • Exclusive: for $20 per episode, you can ensure your ad is the only business / brand sponsorship for that episode. (Otherwise, Ben may run multiple sponsorship spots in any order he chooses.)
  • Social post package: for $40, we’ll publish a dedicated post with the text of your ad on the UX Questions Linkedin, Twitter, and Instagram profiles.

Here’s an example of a 90-word ad, just to give you an idea:

Are you looking for a new and simpler way to conduct usability tests? UX Questions proudly recommends ABC Usability.

It’s ironic that so many usability testing platforms are so hard to use. The options are confusing and the analytics don’t make sense.

ABC Usability is changing the game. It has all the features you need, but none of the hassle. It’s secure and affordable. And with a minimalist and highly intuitive design, it’s easy as A-B-C!

We will also include a reasonable number of relevant links in the video / podcast description. In the example above, that would include a link to the sponsor’s website.

Individual sponsors / personal messages

You don’t have to be a company to sponsor the show. You can be an individual seeking to get your name out there in the UX community. This is a great option for job seekers, or anyone looking to grow your professional network.

Here’s an example of a 90-word individual sponsorship spot for a job seeker:

This episode is sponsored by Alynna Nechayev.

Alynna is a UX designer seeking a position where she can continue to grow her skills in user research and product design. Alynna recently graduated from the Designlab UX Academy. Before transitioning into UX, Alynna was a preschool teacher for five years.

If you or someone you know is hiring a self-motivated, high dependable, and creative UX generalist, don’t miss this chance to connedt with Alynna Nechayev.

Her portfolio is at AlynnaUX.com. Check the description for links. Thanks for being a sponsor, Alynna!

As indicated in the example above, we will also include a reasonable number of relevant links in the video / podcast description.

You can also deliver a personal message. It doesn’t have to be UX related. Want to shout out a coworker for being great to work with? Want to say something silly? Here’s your chance. It might go something like this:

We have a personal message from Edward Jellico.

It’s from Edward to Deanna Troi:

Deanna, you have been a great co-worker for these past four years. You’re an amazingly talented designer, and I’ve learned so much from you about Figma auto layout, user research techniques, and so much more. I will always appreciate your aesthetic style and empathy.

I’ll miss working with you, but I’m so excited for the next chapter of your career. Congrats on the new gig!

Thanks for that awesome message and for sponsoring the show, Edward!

We’ll work together on the content of your message via email. Ben reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit any personal message, per our Advertising Policy.
